Kissing Rainbows (CondesceXLBTroll!Reader) Pt. 19

    Reader's POV:



   You just kept staring coldly at the royal troll before you. You were amazed at what came out of your mouth. Even though you two weren't matesprits, it felt like it when you were with her in the cave.
   "Please," Condesce whispered in your ear. "Please come with me,"
    "No," you growled darkly. "I'm going with them." your voice shook with pain. I turned to the teal-blood and held out your blood soaked hands to her.
    "Do I arrest this one?" Redglare looked at the Condesce.
    Ever so slowly, the queen nodded, turning away. You caught a glimpse of fuchsia tears running down her face. You bit your tongue, trying to ignore all the emotions bubbling inside of you. Cold steal was placed and locked onto your wrists.
    You and your companions were shackled together and marched to the seaside. Your wound was taking a heavy toll on you. It wouldn't be long before you nearly collapsed. Dolorosa did what she could to help the bleeding and soothed you as much as possible.
    The hoofbeasts had stopped on the Condesce's order. She unmounted her hoofbeasts. You noticed a pole in the middle of the village. Dualscar had ordered Redglare to fetch you and the others. The four of you were brought in front of the pole. You noticed a big bulky blue-blood next to the Grand Highblood. A shiver ran down your spine as you blood ran cold.
    The bulky blue-blood known as Darkleer, took the Signless and shackled him to the pole. You and the other two trolls were taken to the village prison by Redglare. Disciple tried to fight back until she was hit in the back of the head. Dolorosa and you helped her walk.
In the dungeon the three of you were saddened. You looked at Disciple, she was staring out of the bars. The guilt you felt was so overwhelming you almost couldn't wait to be executed. During the day, only Dolorosa and you were awake. Disciple had fallen asleep near the bars. Her face was stained olive green.
    You sighed heavily.
    The motherly troll looked at you. "My dear, this isn't your fault. You tried so hard to help us." she said quietly.
    You looked at her. "It is my fault. I shouldn't have gone searching for you."
    "Why do you feel that its your fault?"
    "Because I knew that, that sea bitch was using me to get to him."
    "But Psionic gave you a head start to try."
    Tears pricked at your eyes. You only nodded.
    "Come here dear," she scooted next to you, coddling you. "Its okay, everyone makes a mistake. But you have realize that you did at least try to help. And that does count for something."
    You kept nodding your head as you buried your face in her shoulder. Dolorosa began to rock you back and forth, humming a lullaby.
    The next night you were awoken by the steal bars being opened. You had fallen asleep on Dolorosa.
    "Its time to go." said a guard. More guards walked into the dungeon. The three of you were brought to the pole in which Signless was help. You were horrified. He was red from the sun and bleeding bright red. You were brought to your knees along with Disciple and Dolorosa.
    Redglare stood in front of the mutant troll. "Signless, you are to be executed this night. Do you have any last words?"
    Signless' head slowly looked up. "I do," he said quietly.
    Redglare looked over to the Condesce, whom was sitting up on her throne. The queen troll nodded. The teal-blood looked back at   Signless. "You may say your peace."
    He nodded. "I have been peaceful. I have been kind. I only dared to speak what others have been dreaming for so long. I have had dreams too. Dreams of what might of been where blood was simply blood. And all of us were equal.  If wishing for that is heresy, then yes I deserve to die. I've seen acts of the most sublime kindness and the most vile cruelty.
    "They say power beings find anger when they have no room for love. What made you so? Are you scared of change? Scared of those who are different? I realize I am different then you. I have known feelings that none of  you  can ever hope to know. I've know the comroddary of friend who supported me against all odds. I have known the compassion of a guardian who took me in when no others would and raised me to dream and hope. I have known a love and passion that transcended definition
    "There is no use hiding it now. You can all see me for what I am! The signless, the sufferer, the mutant. My blood burns brightly for all to see. It is the flame of a revolution that you cannot ever hope to quell. My memory can be erased but my ideals will never die! My mistake was believing I could change a world infected by hate and corruption. You've taken the freedom of an innocent troll and turned his blessings into a curse. The pity you have taken on my Disciple will wound her. She's known true love and you've forced her into a life of solitude. And the worst, you've forced a mother to watch her son die!  
    "I see you for what you are and always FUCKING have! I thought I could FUCKING change you! Fuck me for being a fucking fool! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUUUUUUUUUUUCK! FUCK! I am angry, because I forgive you. I must be the biggest fucking fool in alternia. But when I close my eyes I see a world where we all work together. And its so fucking beautiful." bright red tears ran down his face.
    There was dead silence amongst the crowd. The silence was unnerving. Darkleer looked at the Condesce. She nodded her head. Darkleer pulled back on his large bow.
    You gritted your teeth and closed your eyes. You heard the sickening sound of arrow being released and the painful screams from Signless.
